The registration fee for the 5K is just $20, which includes a complimentary t-shirt, while the 1K Fun Walk costs $10 and also comes with a t-shirt. Children aged 10 and under can participate for only $5 and receive a fun superhero cape! Attendees can look forward to a lively Family Play Area with entertainment before and during the race, and everyone is invited to relax and celebrate in the post-race area. This event not only offers a chance to get active and enjoy the outdoors, but it also supports the Diamond Children's Medical Center, ensuring vital pediatric care for Southern Arizona's children. Register today for the inaugural Rancho Sahuarita Lakeside Run 5K & Fun Walk, happening Sunday, April 26, 2026! Proceeds from the event will benefit Diamond Childrens Medical Center, supporting their vital mission to provide critical pediatric care to children across Southern Arizona when they need it most.
The scenic race route winds through the picturesque community of Rancho Sahuarita. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. at Sahuarita Lake Park, with the race kicking off at 7:30 a.m. The 1K Fun Walk will take place around the perimeter of Sahuarita Lake.
