Organiser's Description
Put on your best glow outfit, paint yourself neon and lace up your running shoes for a night of fun! The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office SCOPE Unit kicks off our second annual event on September 7, 2024. This will be a family event with a Color Fun Run for the kids, beginning at 6:30 pm. The family Glow Run will begin at 6:45 pm. The chip-timed 5K course will wind through Boundary Waters Park, providing a scenic route and fun, enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition.The Color Fun Run will be open to participants ages 10 and younger as well as anyone who would prefer the slower paced race. Before this race, the participants will be sprayed with water, then doused with colored powder (optional). As they run the course, they will come in contact with spectators spraying them with colored powder. If you choose to not participate in the “Color” portion of the race, that is an option!
