Join us for the inaugural Reidenbaugh Turkey Trot Festival on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, in the charming town of Lititz, Lancaster! This festive event invites students, alumni, family, and friends to come together and give thanks while raising funds for our wonderful school community. Participants can run, walk, or simply enjoy the fun on the 0.55-mile course around Reidenbaugh Park. The Turkey Trot kicks off at 11:00 AM sharp, where you'll have the option to complete one lap or two.
With a modest registration fee of just $15, you’ll not only be part of an exciting community event but also support essential programs funded by the PTO, such as field trips and family events. Exciting awards await, including prizes for the top finishers and the best turkey trot attire, making this a delightful experience for everyone involved. After the run, stick around for the festival from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, featuring delicious food, bouncy houses, games, and more! Admission to the festival is free, so whether you trot or just want to join the fun, we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Organiser's Description
We are giving thanks and raising funds for our wonderful school community, with our first annual Reidenbaugh Turkey Trot Festival! Students, alumni, family & friends are all welcome.
Run, walk, and/or gobble around the 0.55 mile fun run course on Reidenbaugh Park property. The $15 registration fee helps offset the cost of the event, and any additional funds benefit the PTO to fund important programs like field trips, family events, assemblies, staff appreciation, and more. The Turkey Trot begins and ends at the front of the school, in the bus loop. You can choose to complete one lap or two. The Trot will start at 11:00AM sharp! Awards will be given to the first student finisher, first alumni finisher, first adult finisher, and for the best turkey trot attire. Students will even get to vote (in school) for which Reidenbaugh staff member they'd like to see wearing our special turkey costume! Please note that this is a fun, casual, family run and it will not be professionally timed.
After the Turkey Trot, join us behind the school on the blacktop for the FESTIVAL portion of the day! Food, bounces, games, and more will be available from 11:00AM - 2:00PM. Admission to the festival is free. You do not need to participate in the Turkey Trot to attend the festival.
If you'd like to support the event/PTO but can't participate in the Turkey Trot, you are welcome to simply donate via this site instead! As always, we sincerely appreciate your support.
