Discover the tranquil beauty of Moodus, while enjoying this 5K run/walk through the winding country roads, around the towns reservoir area with scenic water views on mostly level running course. Show your most festive patriotic support by wearing red, white and blue! This fundraising event is hosted by the East Haddam/Moodus VFW Post 3336. Proceeds from this event will benefit The House of Heroes of Connecticut, a non-profit organization that helps our veterans (and their spouses) who are disabled, living on a fixed income, or facing other physical/financial challenges. This event will not only bring together members of our community, but also increase the exposure of the VFW Post 3336 and the needs of veterans locally and around the State.
