Join us for the Resolution Run 2025 presented by Birmingham Ultra Trail Society (BUTS) on Saturday, January 11th in Birmingham, Jefferson! Start your year off right by participating in this fun run for a great cause, with all proceeds going directly to Red Mountain Park. Choose between the Ultra 5K (4 miles) or Ultra 10K (7 miles) routes, or loop through multiple times for longer distances. Enjoy the company of like-minded runners and get a sneak peek at upcoming events in 2025. With no awards or timing, this is all about having a good time and supporting a fantastic organization. Registration is only $15, so come out and join the fun!
Organiser's Description
Join the fun at the Annual Resolution Run presented by Birmingham Ultra Trail Society (BUTS)! Get the new year off to an early start by partying (at least that's what we'll loosely call a fun run) with a few hundred like-minded souls. This informal "race" is an opportunity to enjoy good company and support a great cause as all net proceeds raised by registration fees and your donations will go directly to Red Mountain Park. We will have some of your favorite race / run organizers coming out to show off what is coming up in 2025!
We'll have two distances marked out for your running pleasure: an Ultra 5K (4 miles) route and an Ultra 10K (7 miles) route. Choose whichever suits your fancy or loop through multiple times for longer distances. Please note that we have different start times for each route so that everyone can finish at about the same time. For those not familiar with Red Mountain Park, these will be trail routes but some of the trails are converted railroad paths and are not very technical.
Each race is only $15.
