Get ready for an exhilarating day at the RHODE ISLAND STATE POLICE - 5K FOOT PURSUIT, taking place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the beautiful Narragansett, Washington. This exciting event invites runners of all levels to participate in a thrilling 5K race along the stunning coastline.
Participants can pick up their race packets and register in person on Friday, April 24, at the RISP Lincoln Woods Barracks and Saturday, April 25, at the RISP Wickford Barracks. Race day registration will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the North Beach Pavilion. This year, the event encourages team spirit with competitions open to teams of all kinds, including police, fire, military, and academy squads, with prizes awarded to the top three teams based on the combined time of their fastest three members.
In addition to team prizes, individual runners can compete for cash awards, including $150 for the top male and female finishers, and a remarkable $200 bonus for breaking the existing course records. With age divisions ranging from Trooper (12 & under) to Veteran (60+), everyone has a chance to shine
