Saturday is packed with family-friendly activities, including an early morning ride at the Michigan Tech Trails and a fun Family Enduro race designed to foster friendly competition among families and friends. As the weekend culminates on Sunday, riders will take on the Lake Superior Gravity Series Enduro with challenging stages for both Sport and Expert classes, along with a Class 1 E-bike category for those seeking an extra boost. **RTK 2026 IS STILL IN THE PLANNING PHASE, BUT FOR NOW WE KNOW IT WILL BE TAKING PLACE MAY 22ND - 24TH, 2026. KEEP AN EYE OUT ON OUR WEBSITE AND SOCIALS FOR UPDATES THROUGHOUT THE WINTER AS WE PIN DOWN THE EXACT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS AND OPEN REGISTRATION!**

Ride the Keweenaw invites you to explore the incredible natural beauty and recreational trails of the Keweenaw region. Experience the Copper Countrys best trails, from S"ok'e to Copper Harbor and everything in between.



Join us this Memorial Day weekend for three action-packed days of mountain biking!



On Friday, May 22nd, kick things off with a guided ride through the underground Adventure Mine caverns, where youll encounter bats and remnants of old copper mine workings. The rugged surface trails here are some of the most challenging in the Copper Country! We'll also be returning to Swedetown for some family-focused group rides.



Saturday, May 23rd, begins with an early ride at the Michigan Tech Trails. There will be something for everyone, so bring the whole family! In the afternoon, well head to Churning Rapids to explore these local backcountry trails.



Well also hold a Family Enduro race on Saturday, May 23rd, at the Michigan Tech Trails. This fun and friendly race will feature 2-3 short stages with minimal pedaling between them. Its designed for families and friends to enjoy together with just the right level of competition. For families with younger riders, well provide extra time to navigate the course without the pressure of faster riders catching up.



We will also be holding our International Women's Day group ride in Copper Harbor and a women's enduro pre-ride.



Sunday, May 24th, takes us north to Copper Harbor for the season kickoff. The first Lake Superior Gravity Series Enduro of 2025 starts in the morning with 3-stage Sport and 4-stage Expert classes. Space is limited, so be sure to register early! There will also be a Class 1 E-bike category in the RTK Enduro for those looking to amp up the speed.



After our final day of riding, well gather at the Mariner to unveil the 2026 ArtBike posters!



All group rides are free, though donations to your favorite local club are appreciated. The Copper Harbor Enduro costs $55, increasing to $65 after April 30th. The Family Enduro fees are $30-$35 for adults, $15 for ages 13-17, and $10 for those under 13.

    Experts will tackle four classic in-town stages on Brockway and the Lodge side. Given the 300+ inches of snow, East Bluff will be too wet to race on this early in the year. Prizes will be awarded for the top three male/female contenders overall. Lake Superior Gravity Series points will be awarded for male/female competitors in the following age brackets: 16 and under, 17-39, and 40+. To be scored appropriately for the Lake Superior Gravity Series, your race age is determined by your age on October 4, 2025.

Designed with families in mind, the race will be competitive but not too competitive. Families and friends can ride together as one group for bonus fun. If you have young riders with you, we'll give you extra time to make it down the course so you don't have to worry about faster riders catching you.
  • One Lap of the XC Race Course

    A guided ride through and around Adventure Mine on the Black Diamond XC Course. Unique, rugged, hand-built singletrack featuring an impressive view from the top of Adventure Mountain and lots of mine rock ;) . This ride can split into multiple groups as needed. Don't forget to bring a light for the underground portion of the ride through the historic copper mine.
