Join us for the Rigby Lake Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, in the beautiful setting of Rigby, Jefferson County! This festive Thanksgiving morning event is the perfect way to kick off your holiday celebrations while supporting a great cause. Participants can enjoy a 5K run, which is completely free with the donation of a canned food item for the local food pantry.
Starting at 9 AM, the untimed community run will take place at the West Parking Lot of Rigby Lake, also known as Jefferson County Lake. The course consists of three loops around the scenic walking path, with a water station available at each mile to keep you refreshed. Don’t forget to bring your family, friends, and even your furry companions (on a leash) as you embrace the holiday spirit. Bundle up for the chilly weather, and get ready to make wonderful memories at this fun and community-focused event!

The Turkey Trot is coming back to Rigby Lake _(aka Jefferson County Lake if you are coming in from out of town)_!! Grab your family and friends and your best holiday sweater and come hang out with us Thanksgiving Morning!

Rigby Lake (Jefferson County Lake) West Parking Lot
Please register so we have an idea of how many people are coming!!! The race is untimed (there will be no official results).
If you bring your pup they need to be leashed at all times.
Bundle up, it will be chilly!
Course:
The race starts and ends at the West Pavilion at Rigby Lake and will circle the walking path (3) times. There will be a water station for runners to pass by each mile :)
