Join us for the annual Rigby Lake Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the picturesque setting of Rigby, Jefferson County! This exciting Thanksgiving Day event kicks off at 9 AM, featuring a delightful 5K free untimed community run that invites participants of all ages to join in the fun. The only entrance fee is a can of food or a pair of running shoes, both of which will benefit the Giving Cupboard, giving you a chance to support a great cause while enjoying the holiday spirit.
Starting and ending at the West Pavilion at Rigby Lake, the course will take you around the scenic walking path for 2.7 loops. Stay hydrated with water stations available each mile, and feel free to bring your furry friends—just remember to keep them leashed! Whether you're sporting a festive holiday sweater or bundled up for the chilly weather, the Turkey Trot promises a morning of camaraderie, community spirit, and a whole lot of fun. Don’t forget to register so we can prepare for your arrival and make this a memorable Thanksgiving celebration!

The Turkey Trot is coming back to Rigby Lake _(aka Jefferson County Lake if you are coming in from out of town)_!! Grab your family and friends and your best holiday sweater and come hang out with us Thanksgiving Morning!

Please register so we have an idea of how many people are coming!!! The race is untimed (there will be no official results).
If you bring your pup they need to be leashed at all times.
Bundle up, it will be chilly!
