Join us for the exciting Riley Radiothon 5K on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in beautiful Evansville, Vanderburgh! This vibrant event kicks off at 7:30 AM Central Time in Garvin Park, located at 45 Don Mattingly Way. Runners and walkers can choose between a competitive 5K race and a fun, untimed 1 Mile run/walk starting at 7:35 AM. The 5K race entry fee is just $30 until race day, with an optional race shirt for an additional $7. The 1 Mile event is free, but registration is encouraged to help us prepare for a fantastic turnout!
Participants of all ages can look forward to an exhilarating morning filled with community spirit, awards for top finishers, and the joy of supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit Riley Children's Hospital, making your participation even more meaningful. START TIME/LOCATION: 7:30AM Central Time/Garvin Park in Evansville, IN. Address is 45 Don Mattingly Way Evansville, IN.
COURSE: The out and back 5K & 1 Mile course will start in Garvin Park by the fountain. The 1 mile fun run/walk is untimed and will start at 7:35AM.
COST:5K $30 UNTIL RACE DAY (RACE SHIRT ADD ADDITIONAL $7)
1 Mile Untimed Event is FREE. Although it's Free, please register so we have an idea of how many to expect on race day. IF SHIRT SIZES ARE SOLD OUT WE MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL SHIRTS TO PURCHASE AFTER THE RACE.
**All sales are final. Unless prior arrangements are made prior to race start, no shirts are guaranteed after race day.
**There is a donation page on registration. 100% of donations on this page will go to Riley's. If you do not want to donate, choose $0 to advance to next page.
EARLY SHIRT/BIB PICK UP/LATE REGISTRATION: There will be no early shirt/bib pick up for this event. Race day check in will be in Garvin Park from 6:30-7:20AM
AWARDS: Overall Male/Female & Runner-Up Male/Female. Top 4 male and female in the following age groups: 13 & under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+
TIMING: To the Finish Timing.
WEATHER: The race will go on rain or shine! No refunds given if event is cancelled due to unforeseen weather conditions or a circumstance out of the hands of the organizers.
