Get ready for a fantastic day of community spirit and fitness at the third annual Ringling Bridge Run in beautiful Sarasota on Sunday, April 26, 2026! This exciting event promises fun for everyone, whether you're an experienced runner, a casual walker, or looking to enjoy a family-friendly experience. Participants can choose from a 5K or 10K race, as well as a delightful Family Fun Run, all taking place across the iconic Ringling Bridge.
The race kicks off at 7:00 AM for the 10K, followed by the 5K at 7:30 AM, and the Family Fun Run at 8:00 AM. Not only will you enjoy a scenic route, but your registration fee also includes a stylish shirt and a finisher medal! Proceeds from the event benefit the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, supporting local public school teachers and students. Join us for a day of health, happiness, and community pride while making a positive impact!

THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF SARASOTA COUNTY [https://edfoundationsrq.org/about-us/] IS PROUD TO HOST THE THIRD ANNUAL RINGLING BRIDGE RUN A COMMUNITY TRADITION ACROSS THE ICONIC RINGLING BRIDGE. WHETHER YOURE A SEASONED RUNNER, A CASUAL WALKER, OR BRINGING THE WHOLE FAMILY FOR THE FUN RUN, THERES SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. PARTICIPANTS CAN CHOOSE FROM THE 5K, 10K, OR FAMILY FUN RUN. PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF SARASOTA COUNTY, A NONPROFIT THAT SUPPORTS PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN SARASOTA COUNTY WITH PROGRAMS THAT PREPARE STUDENTS TO GET READY AND GO FURTHER.

_RINGLING BRIDGE TRAFFIC:_ _THROUGHOUT THE RACE, TRAFFIC WILL FLOW IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. BETWEEN 6-10AM, THE EAST-BOUND SIDE OF THE BRIDGE WILL BE OPEN FOR TWO-WAY TRAFFIC AND THE WEST-BOUND SIDE WILL BE CLOSED TO PROVIDE SAFE CROSSING FOR RACE PARTICIPANTS, GUIDED BY THE SARASOTA POLICE DEPARTMENT.
