SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 2025, at the beautiful SALUDA SHOALS PARK for the RISE & RUN 5K/WALK . More than just a race, its a celebration of the resurrected King, a movement for mental health awareness, and a chance to bring hope to those struggling with anxiety and depression. The event is hosted by Forever Changed Ministries- 501c3 nonprofit Fundraiser.
EVENT DETAILS:
5K RACE: Starting at 8:00 AM RUN OR WALK WITH YOUR WHOLE FAMILY!
KIDS' FUN RUN WITH EASTER EGG HUNT: Beginning at 9:30 AM, this fun-filled activity allows everyone to participate in the 5K and still enjoy Easter festivities with their families at Leo's Landing. Bring a basket for your eggs.
WHAT MAKES RISE & RUN SO UNIQUE?
latin crossThe 5K journey will have scripture all throughout the walk to mediate on the suffering Jesus went through.
We will have a couple mental health quick testimonies throughout the event of how they have overcome depression.
Congressman from the Statehouse will be opening for us.
Before the Easter Egg hunt there will be a special Bible reading/interactive time.
Every kid receives a goodie bag focused on the resurrection with some fun surprises.
Some jaw-dropping Grand Prizes for the kiddos.

1. I AM CONFUSED. I AM A MOTHER HOW DO I REGISTER MY KIDS?
-All children 10 & under participating in the egg hunt must register for the Fun Run Egg Hunt option!
-All children 11 & up must register for the 5K either Run or Walk option.
-If you want your 10 & under child to compete in the 5K for a medal award, you must register them under the Rise & Run 5K to get a bib for timing. This registration WILL INCLUDE them in the egg hunt.
-If you are a Mom with a stroller during the 5K you do not need to register your stroller child/baby unless they are participating in the fun run/egg hunt - then be sure to register them for the fun run.
-What is the fun run? The fun run is a half mile and will end with Leos landing for an egg hunt.
2. WILL THERE BE AWARDS?
*Awards for the TOP MALE & TOP FEMALE in each age bracket!
*Top male and female in each age group: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 -75, 75 & up.

Saturday, April 12: Race day on-site packet pick-up will begin at 7:00 AM at Saluda Shoals Park.
