River Hills Run (5K and 1 Mile Fun Run)

This off-road course will challenge even seasoned runners but the scenery along the route will delight everyone. River Hills Retreat is nestled along the beautiful Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River in Hayden, Alabama.  The route runs along the river, winds through wood-lined meadows, and across the breathtaking fairways of the former Plantation Golf Course.  What a great way to pre-game for a Thanksgiving feast!
And in participating, youll do something great for your health, enjoy a beautiful setting, and support an important cause.  Our vision is to be a retreat owned by Christians and used for Christians for Gods glory.   Proceeds will be donated to the Central Alabama Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell, a 501c3 and the organization that makes possible the FC Alabama Camp each summer.  Our goal is to create a permanent home for FC Alabama camp as well as offering a first-class facility for other camps and retreats.
