Organiser's Description
Since 2010, the Rochester Area Triathletes have hosted a kids race, and the ROC Splash-n-Dash provides a safe environment to introduce multi-sport endurance racing to the youth in the Rochester, NY area. The ROC Splash-n-Dash features an open-water swim in Lake Ontario (shallow), transition area, and a sprint on the footpath to the finish line. Kids receive an event shirt, medal, and ice cream during the awards ceremony.
The race teaches valuable lessons of perseverance meanwhile providing lifelong memories for thousands of children in the region and is super fun. Be a part of the next generation triathlete and sign your child up or be a volunteer!
