52ND ANNUAL ROCKFORD ROAD RUNNERS TURKEY TROT IS THE OLDEST AREA RACE! THE RACE HAS LONG BEEN A FUNDRAISER FOR THE ROCK RIVER VALLEY FOOD PANTRY, WITH MANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS HAVING BEEN RAISED OVER THE YEARS AND CONTINUES THAT TRADITION THIS YEAR. OUR HOPE IS THAT IN SIGNING UP ALL WILL CONSIDER INCLUDING A DONATION TO SUPPORT TO THE ROCK RIVER VALLEY FOOD PANTRY.
THE DISTANCE IS LISTED AS 5K. THE DISTANCE IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN APPROXIMATE. IT IS A TRAIL RACE, THERE WILL BE HILLS, ROCKS, HILLS, ROOTS, HILLS, AND PROBABLY MORE HILLS!
