Organiser's Description

Rooted in Motion is a virtual movement challenge supporting the work of 7 Directions of Service, Indigenous-led environmental justice initiatives, MMIW NC advocacy, cultural revitalization programs, youth leadership, food sovereignty efforts, and community healing work.

Participants can join from anywhere by walking, running, biking, hiking, paddling, rolling, or moving in ways that are accessible to them while raising funds and awareness for Indigenous communities and environmental justice efforts across North Carolina and beyond.

This event is designed to be inclusive, community-centered, family-friendly, and accessible to people of all ability levels.
