Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and community spirit at the 41st Annual Rotary Mission Ten event on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in the charming town of San Juan Bautista, San Benito! This much-anticipated race day features a variety of distances to accommodate runners of all levels, including a Half Marathon, a 10-Mile race, a 5K, and a fun-filled 1 Mile Kids’ Fun Run.
Starting and finishing in front of the historic San Juan Mission, participants will enjoy scenic views as they navigate through beautiful farmland and the picturesque Anzar hills. With race day registration beginning at 7:15 AM, the Half Marathon kicks off at 8:15 AM followed by the Kid's Fun Run at 8:30 AM, the 10 Mile race at 9:00 AM, and the 5K at 9:15 AM. All races, except the fun run, will be timed, and medals will be awarded three deep in standard age categories, making this a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself and celebrate your achievements. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and fun as we support local scholarships and charities!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET/BIB PICKUP BEGINS AT 7:15AM
This event is in its 41st year. It is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hollister and all proceeds go to benefit local scholarships and charities. San Juan Bautista is a small California Mission town just off Hwy 101 approximately 50 miles south of San Jose. The four races: 1/2 marathon, 10 miles, 5k and 1 Mile kids fun run, all start and finish in front of the historic and beautiful San Juan Mission. The area is rural and the course takes runners through farm land and up the Anzar hills. Medals are awarded three deep in standard age categories. The 1/2 marathon and 10 mile races (both USATF Distance Certified) are particularly good training for upcoming spring marathons. Theme teams encouraged and trophies will be awarded to top teams. (Please keep costumes family friendly)

CHANGING OF RACES:
Need to change from one race to another? You can do that on our registration page at mission10.com or ask for Bill Tiffany at check in on race day.
PARKING:
Street parking is available around the Mission and adjacent streets in San Juan. There is also parking available at San Juan Elementary School parking lot and adjacent field at the Alameda.
Water Stations:
Refillable water bottle station at Mission lawn. Standard water stations with paper cups along all courses.
BATHROOMS:
Portables located at start/finish across from the Mission. One bathroom around the 3.5 mile from start/finish area for participants. One bathroom located by the old Mission Jail near the start/finish.
STROLLERS:
Families with strollers welcome in all races.
DOGS:
Well behaved dogs are welcome to run with their humans.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS & ELEVATIONS:
USATF CERTIFIED 1/2 MARATHON RACE: Extension of 10 mile course, generally flat with small hills, passes Anzar Lake.
10 MILE DISTANCE: USATF Certified 2010 - Update pending, Partial Loop course, generally flat with one hill; Elevation gain 210 feet from 3.2 miles to 4.8 miles; Run back down same hill.
5 KILOMETER RACE: Out and back; paved, flat.
