Join us on Saturday, January 10, 2026, for the vibrant and inspiring "Rotary Ride to End Polio District 6970" in Edgewater, Volusia! This non-competitive social cycling event invites Rotarians and guests alike to unite in a shared mission to eradicate polio worldwide. Participants can choose from three scenic routes: a leisurely 6-mile ride to the SR-442 bridge, a 20-mile journey to Maytown Rd in Oak Hill, or a challenging 30-mile ride to Osteen-Maytown Rd and back.
Cyclists will enjoy the breathtaking views along the beautiful, tree-lined East Central Regional Rail Trail, featuring a smooth asphalt path with minimal road crossings. Regardless of the distance you choose, your participation will contribute to a worthy cause, with funds raised being matched 2 for 1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. After your ride, celebrate your achievement at our festive after-party, complete with delicious food provided by the Edgewater Rotarians. Last year's event saw an incredible turnout, raising over $16,000. Don’t miss out on this chance to make a difference while enjoying a fantastic day of cycling and camaraderie!

A non-competitive social ride with fellow Rotarian's and guests. Register now for the "Rotary Ride to End Polio District 6970" ( Florida USA) Life's Journey is to Enjoy Every Day to its Fullest. Bike to the SR-442 bridge and back for a 6 mile ride. Bike to Maytown Rd in Oak Hill and back for a 20 mile ride, or challenge for a 30 mile ride to Osteen-Maytown Rd and back. Any route you chose, raises funds to eradicate Polio Worldwide through the Rotary International Foundation.
The Rotary Clubs of Southeast Volusia-Golf, Daytona Beach West, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater will be hosting this cycling ride along the beautiful, tree lined, East Central Regional Rail Trail. The trail runs North to South, and has a smooth asphalt base with minimal road crossings.
