This exhilarating event will take place from 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM, offering an excellent opportunity for swimmers of all abilities to sharpen their skills in a supportive environment.
This free session is exclusively for RTC members aged 18 and older, with a maximum of eight spots available, ensuring personalized coaching and attention. Swimmers are encouraged to bring their gear, including snorkels, pull buoys, fins, and kickboards, and will be organized by ability level for an optimal experience. Organiser's Description
LOCATION: St. Catherines School - 6001 Grove Avenue, Richmond, VA 23226
TIME: 6:45-7:45 PM *please allow 15 minutes beforehand to get changed and be on deck a few minutes before 6:30 pm.
PARKING: Please park off Maple Avenue in the lower visitor lot by the playing fields - see attached map.
GETTING READY: SWIMMERS MUST USE YELLOW ADULT BATHROOMS ONLY. They will be marked signage on the doors. There are bathrooms and changing rooms but no lockers. You can leave your bag on the pool deck (there are benches). There are showers for afterwards if you're speedy!
_SWIMMERS MUST NOT ENTER THE POOL DECK UNTIL AN EF COACH HAS ARRIVED. YOU MUST WAIT IN THE LOBBY FOR THE EF COACH. _
SWIM GEAR: You're welcome to bring a snorkel, pull buoy, fins, kick board. Swim cap optional.
SET UP: Swimmers will be separated into groups/lanes by ability with ALL LEVELS welcome!
COST: _This is a FREE opportunity for RTC members to get indoor pool practice and is sponsored by RTC. _
PROGRAM DURATION: We will run the program for 4-weeks on Wednesdays (February 21, February 28, March 6, and March 13) and then reevaluate based on level of interest and a sign-up link will be posted to RTC Group each Monday for the Wednesday sessions.
**SPOTS ARE LIMITED TO 8 RTC MEMBERS AGE 18+**
_YOUR MEMBERSHIP MUST BE CURRENT/ACTIVE ON OR BEFORE MARCH 6TH IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE._
WAITLIST: We will have a wait list if the number of sign-ups exceeds 8 members.
