Organiser's Description
Join us for the inaugural Newcastle 5k and Fun Run hosted by the Newcastle Rotary Club being held at Veterans Park. It will be a fun-filled way to kick off the Christmas in the Park celebration before the parade and lighting of the Christmas trees, while running for a good cause!
All proceeds will be going to help feed our community, especially our senior citizens, and assist local food banks.
We welcome all ages, runner speeds, walkers, joggers, strollers and even include a Virtual 5k. The course will be flat, fast and great viewing for spectators to watch. This is an event that is for the whole community and all racers of all levels.
