Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the 3rd Annual Run 4 Our Furry Friends 5K and 2K Honor Walk, taking place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in beautiful Punta Gorda, Charlotte! This vibrant event celebrates National Dog Day, inviting participants of all ages and their furry companions to join in the festivities. The 2K Honor Walk kicks off bright and early at 7:20 AM, followed by the 5K Run at 7:30 AM.
This year, the event moves to a new location at the Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, where you can enjoy a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and plenty of tail-wagging fun. Participants in the 5K will receive race bibs, and awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers across various age categories, as well as the top three dogs! Don’t miss your chance to register by August 11, 2024, for a guaranteed race shirt. Enjoy refreshments and snacks after the race, making this a perfect day out for the whole family. Bring your leashed dogs, strollers are welcome, and help us keep the course clean by picking
