Come join us on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 for the 2nd Annual Run 4 Rescue 5K hosted by the Whitesburg Fire Department in Letcher. Lace up your running shoes and support a great cause as all proceeds will benefit the fire department. The race will kick off at the Whitesburg Fire Department and wind through the scenic Tanglewood Trail, including a newly opened tunnel in downtown Whitesburg. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers. Registration starts at 3:00pm with the race beginning at 4:00pm. After the race, stick around for Octoberfest in downtown Whitesburg featuring vendor booths, delicious food, and live music. Don't miss out on this fantastic event that combines fitness, community support, and fun!

Join us for the 2nd Annual Run 4 Rescue 5k - Whitesburg Fire Department.
All proceeds from the race will be used to support the Whitesburg Fire Department.
The 5k race begins at the Whitesburg Fire Department and the course will take you through parts of the Tanglewood Trail including the newly opened tunnel in beautiful downtown Whitesburg.
