Join us for the exhilarating Run Because You Can 5K on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the beautiful Land Park, Sacramento! This vibrant event marks the 16th annual celebration hosted by Runnin for Rhett, bringing together 3,000 enthusiastic youth athletes from the Sacramento area. Participants will showcase their achievements after six weeks of dedication to the after-school Youth Fitness Program. Whether you choose to run, walk, or jog alongside these inspiring young athletes, your involvement makes a difference! You can also volunteer, cheer from the sidelines, or contribute to ensuring the Youth Fitness Program remains free for all participants. Be part of this uplifting community event and help empower our youth through fitness!

RUNNIN FOR RHETT HOSTS OUR 16TH RUN BECAUSE YOU CAN IN LAND PARK THIS YEAR!

3,000 youth athletes from the Sacramento area take part in a 5K race celebrating the completion of six weeks of participation in our after-school Youth Fitness Program. You can support our local youth by joining us! Register to run, walk, or jog with the kids in our community 5K, volunteer your time, come out to cheer, or make a donation to help keep our Youth Fitness Program free for these youth athletes.
