Join NS PROMOS/Run Myrtle Beach for the INAUGURAL RUN FOR LIFE @CCU! We've also added in a Virtual option for those unable to join us in person. The race will be exclusively on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC! We are excited to partner with Coastal Carolina LIFE and look forward to a great event for everyone!

ABOUT THE LIFE (LEARNING IS FOR EVERYONE) PROGRAM:

Coastal Carolina LIFE is an individualized, residential, non-degree program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program provides supports in the following areas:

* Academic Instruction
* Career Education and Training
* Independent Living
* Social and Community Engagement

The program's philosophy is founded on inclusion, integration, and individualization based on each student's interests and support needs. Coastal Carolina LIFE students have access to opportunities offered to other CCU students such as participation in CCU courses, on-campus housing, student organizations, sporting events, work study, and commencement.

RACE INFORMATION:

* 8:00am 5K Start
* 8:10am 1 Mile Start
* No water stop on course
* Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
* Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification.
* Baby joggers, baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled device are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification.
* Gun timing used for all awards (no chip timing)
* Post race snacks and water

RACE SWAG:

* Participant shirt
* Custom designed Made in the USA medal (5K only)
* 1M Finisher Gift (1M only)
* Virtual race swag will be mailed within 2 weeks post race

REGISTRATION:

* Registration is only available online
* Registration closes Sunday, March 17 at 7:00am

PACKET PICKUP INFORMATION:

* Saturday, March 16 from 4:00-5:30pm (Native Sons, 1519 Executive Avenue, MB 29577)
* Sunday, March 17 from 7:00-7:45am at Brooks Stadium near the finish line
