Join us for the 5th Annual Mike Elhard Memorial Run on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Purgatory Creek Park in Eden Prairie, Minnesota! This heartfelt event celebrates the legacy of Mike Elhard, who was known for his infectious smile, love of running, and passion for baseball. We invite runners, walkers, stroller-pushers, and scooter-riders of all ages and abilities to come together in honor of Mike and support his family—Kristi, Owen, and Ethan.
The festivities kick off at 11:00 AM with a non-timed run, allowing everyone to participate at their own pace. If you can't make it in person, there's a virtual option to join the fun from anywhere! After the run, be sure to stop by Fat Pants Brewery at 12:00 PM for the Best Christmas Ever Fundraiser, featuring door prizes, a raffle, and a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Elhard family. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue or any "Run for Mike" memorabilia to show their support. Let's come together to run for Mike and spread joy to those in need!

If you knew Mike, you knew his big smile, love for running, and passion for baseball. Mike passed away on September 13, 2021 while preparing for the Chicago Marathon, a race he had been eagerly anticipating.
On SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2025, we will gather at PURGATORY CREEK PARK IN EDEN PRAIRIE, MN to celebrate Mikes legacy. Lets come together to support Kristi, Owen, and Ethan, and honor Mikes memory by participating in the MIKE ELHARD MEMORIAL RUN.
Whether youre a runner, walker, stroller-pusher, or scooter-rider, we welcome all ages and abilities!
CANT ATTEND IN PERSON?

This event is all about fun and support. The run will not be timed, and ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT BEST CHRISTMAS EVER (BCE), which provided much-needed support to the Elhard family. This year, Kristi will serve as a BCE captain again, spreading holiday joy to another family in need by surprising them with a Best Christmas Ever.
