Join us for the exciting Run For R.O.A.R. event on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in the charming town of Russell, Warren. This exhilarating race will feature a deceivingly flat out-and-back course, starting on Main Street near the Russell Church parking lot. Get ready to challenge yourself as you head out along Old Route 62, navigating through Woodland Drive and Williams Street before looping around the picturesque Green Briar Circle. The downhill return will leave you with a thrilling finish as you race down Conewango Street and onto East Street.
Participants of all ages are welcome, with race distances catering to various skill levels. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top competitors in each age group, ranging from 1-12 to 60+. Not only will you enjoy a fun and competitive atmosphere, but you'll also be supporting a great cause, with proceeds benefiting R.O.A.R and the Eisenhower Cross Country team. Organiser's Description
A deceivingly flat course that will make you work a bit on the way out but will leave you enjoying the downhill back! The course is an out and back starting on Main Street near the Russell Church parking lot. Runners will head out Old Route 62 and take a right on to Woodland Drive followed by a left on Williams Street. Race will continue right in to Pine Grove Boulevard and head through the loop in Green Briar Circle. Once through the loop runners will head back the way they came. Race finishes by looping down by the post office on Conewango Street and then a straight finish on to East St.
Awards will be: Top 3 Overall Male and Female divisions and top finisher in each age group (Male and Female), age groups will be 1-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ Male and Female
The proceeds benefit R.O.A.R and the Eisenhower Cross Country team.
