JOIN THE BLACK ROCK NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS AS WE CELEBRATE 381 YEARS AT OUR ANNUAL RUN FOR THE ROCK 5K! WE ARE BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER. GET READY TO ENJOY OUR WONDERFUL NEIGHBORHOOD! WE LOVE OUR TRADITIONAL BLACK ROCK DAY WEEKEND AND ARE VERY HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO HOST IT AGAIN.
OUR REGISTRATION LIMIT FOR THIS EVENT WILL BE 450 PARTICIPANTS. LAST YEAR WE SOLD OUT AND COULD NOT ALLOW ANY RACE WEEKEND REGISTRATIONS - SO DON'T DELAY- REGISTER NOW!
IF WE ARE SOLD OUT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY RACE DAY REGISTRATION. IF NOT SOLD OUT WE ACCEPT ONLINE REGISTRATIONS ONLY (NO CASH PAYMENTS ON DAY OF) UP TO 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START.
Your entry fee does include the coveted_ BLACK ROCK SHIRT _and they will be available the days before the race and event morning for pickup. There is no delivery if you miss the race so please have someone pick it up for you.

Black Rocks history spans nearly four centuries beginning as a colonial settlement. With its unique location, it played a pivotal role in the War for Independence. Black Rock then became a major trading and shipbuilding center for CT. In the last fifty years, it has transitioned into a thriving community linked to the growth of Bridgeport. Once an important industrial center, it has developed into a vibrant and close-knit community uniquely positioned to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
