This annual event is hosted by Newcomb Academy PTSA, which serves Newcomb Academy (Grades K8), a public school in the Long Beach Unified School District.
A school fundraiser and a way to promote health and fitness to the entire area. This family-friendly event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Stroller and wheelchair friendly.
Medals will be given to all finishers with awards for the top three 5K finishers in each age group. FREE shirt and goody bag guaranteed if registered by January 6th, 2026 at 11:59 pm, after that date your shirt may not be available.
The Course: Flat, fast, and scenic. It takes place at El Dorado Park East in Long Beach, near the train and playground area. If youre looking to set a personal record or if you just want to take it easy and take in the scenery, this is the perfect course.
