STAND TOGETHER ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2024 IN SUPPORT OF NICOLE PINELLI KUCERA AND ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER. Lace up, fundraise, create a team or come solo! Your strides will benefit Nicole's charity, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, where she is receiving treatment.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH AT 8:30AM - ROLLING WAVES - DUE TO THE NARROW COURSE WE WILL HAVE A ROLLING START TIMES. THE LAST WAVE OUT RUNNERS IS AT 9:30AM. THIS RACE IS A GREEN RACE, THERE IS NO WATER STATION, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE. WE WILL HAVE A WATER TANK FOR FILLS UPS AT 1.75 ON THE COURSE.

ON JUNE 8, 2023, I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH INFLAMMATORY HER2+ BREAST CANCER. SINCE THEN, I HAVE UNDERGONE 6 TREATMENTS OF CHEMO, HAD A MASTECTOMY, DONE 25 ROUNDS OF RADIATIONS AND RECEIVE INFUSIONS EVERY 3 WEEKS. MY JOURNEY SO FAR WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT MY SUPPORTIVE FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY. I AM GRATEFUL TO ALL OF YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE CURE EFFORTS.
