Kicking off at 8 AM, this exciting race will have participants navigating three loops around the campus, starting and ending at the east side of Independence Hall. Not only is this event a fantastic opportunity to get active, but it also supports a great cause, with all proceeds benefiting the UACCB Foundation Student Emergency Fund, which helps students facing financial challenges stay in school.
Participants can pick up their race packets on Friday, October 25, from 5-7 PM, or on race day from 7-7:45 AM. Join in on the fun by wearing your Halloween costume and enjoy a long-sleeved tee or hoodie, guaranteed for those who register by October 11. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, making it an event to remember. Organiser's Description
The 3rd annual RUN THE COLLEGE 5K on the UACCB campus will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 8 am. UACCBs mission is to improve lives by empowering the people of North Central Arkansas through education and skills development.
The race begins and ends on the east side of Independence Hall. All proceeds will go to the UACCB Foundation Student Emergency Fund. The STUDENT EMERGENCY FUND is used to help students who are in an emergency financial situation. This fund has helped numerous students through a financial challenge, allowing them to stay in school and meet their needs.
Packet pickup will be in Independence Hall on Friday, Oct 25, 5-7 pm, and on race morning 7-7:45 am. The race, three loops of the campus, starts at 8 am on the east side of Independence Hall. Awards will go to the top 3 overall male and female winners. All registrants who pick up their packet will receive a long-sleeved tee or hoodie. We encourage you to sign up on or before October 11 at 5pm to guarantee a shirt/preferred size. In the spirit of the season, feel free to run in your Halloween costume for some added fun.
