This unique event invites you and up to three friends to join forces and collectively run an impressive total of 2024 miles throughout the year. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this challenge is perfect for everyone, as teams can be formed from participants all around the globe!
Throughout the year, you'll have the chance to engage in monthly activities and challenges that will keep your motivation high and your spirits even higher. Each team will appoint a captain to track and report monthly mileage, with submissions due by the 4th of each month. Not only will you be working towards a personal goal, but you'll also have the opportunity to win exciting prizes by submitting your mileage regularly. Plus, at the end of the challenge, exclusive RunAbout Run The Year swag will be available for purchase. So lace up your running shoes, gather your team, and get ready for a year filled with fun, fitness, and camaraderie!

WHAT: You & your team will run the year in miles. Thats right 2024 miles! We wont stop you at 2024 though, so if you want to be an overachiever go right ahead.
WHEN: Starts January 1, 2024
WHERE: Anywhere! The beauty of this challenge is that your team can be made up of people from all over the world!
WHY: Because why not? This is a friendly challenge that will offer monthly activities/challenges and keep us motivated throughout 2024 and beyond.
Each team will need to nominate a team captain. The team members will need to report their monthly mileage to this person, and then they will in turn report their teams monthly mileage via google forms. The monthly mileage is due by the 4th of each month.
REGISTRATION DETAILS:
-Register each team (teams can be 1-4 people) to sign up for challenge. After registration deadline has ended (1/31), all registered teams will be contacted to submit a team captain name and email. The team captain will be responsible for submitting team mileage accrued each month by the 4th of every month. In doing so, teams who submit monthly mileage will be entered to win prizes! At the end of the challenge, teams will have the option of buying exclusive RunAbout Run The Year Swag.
