The 15K race kicks off at 8:00 AM, followed by the Fun Run at 8:05 AM and the 5K at 8:40 AM. Participants can expect a chip-timed experience on a USATF certified course, with prizes awarded for top finishers in various age groups and genders. Don’t miss the opportunity to join the unique Jerry Can Challenge, where teams carry a 40-pound jerrycan through the 5K course, showcasing teamwork and strength! Get a team and work together to carry a jerrycan 5 kilometers.
Get a team and register for the Jerrycan Challenge! Your team will be given a jerrycan of water before the race that weighs about 40 pounds. The team that gets their can through the course first wins! You can't use anything to help you (like a pole or wheels). Just your hands, arms, head, and muscles.
To register: Click "Jerrycan Challenge" on the left menu of this page. Then create a team or join an existing one. Each team member will sign up using the "Jerrycan challenge - 5k" option and will be asked to join a team during check out. Teams will run the 5K course along with the normal 5K race starting at 8:40 a.m.
