Join us for the exhilarating Run/Walk for Hope 5K on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the picturesque White Hall Park in Richmond, Kentucky! This vibrant event kicks off at 10:00 AM and promises a fun-filled day for the entire family. Participants can choose to run or walk the scenic 5K course while supporting a great cause—100% of the race proceeds will benefit Legacy of Hope Restored, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting economically disadvantaged communities through educational programs in Colombia and Argentina.
For our younger runners, we’re excited to feature a special Kona Ice Kids Color Run, a 1K race designed for participants aged 17 and under. This untimed event will have kids splashed with color as they make their way around the lake, all while enjoying music and cheering from the crowd. Every child that participates will receive free Kona Ice, making it a delightful experience! With awards for top finishers, team recognition, and plenty of food and fun activities like face painting, the Run/Walk for Hope is an event not to be missed! Mark your calendars and get ready to run or walk for a meaningful cause!

RUN/WALK FOR HOPE 5K --- THE RUN/WALK FOR HOPE 5K IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY LEGACY OF HOPE RESTORED.
SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026 AT 10:00AM AT WHITE HALL PARK IN RICHMOND, KENTUCKY
100% OF THE RACE PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT LEGACY OF HOPE RESTORED (LHR), a U.S. based nonprofit that works to feed, educate, and mentor the economically poor and marginalized through meaningful partnerships with schools and organizations in the communities they serve. They currently help support two programs that are empowering children and their families in Cartagena, Colombia and Mendoza, Argentina.
* In Cartagena, Colombia they started a tutoring program to help children falling behind in school get the help that they need to not only survive,but thrive.
* In Mendoza, Argentina they support an educational program that serves at-risk children and families. PEPE's provides educational support, basic needs, and a supportive community for the children and families in their community.

KONA ICE KIDS COLOR RUN:
In addition to our 5K, we're offering a COLOR RUN for those 17 and under! This event will be a 1K race. This race will not be professionally timed/tracked. The route will go around the lake where each runner will be splashed with color as music plays and people cheer them on. Walk or Run - goal is for everyone in the family to have a good time!! PLUS, EVERY CHILD THAT PARTICIPATES WILL GET FREE KONA.

PACKET PICKUP: We have scheduled our packet pickup on Race Day (Saturday, April 18th from 8:30-9:45 am at the Race Venue (White Hall Park (Pavilion)) in Richmond, KY.

8:30 am: Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup Begins (Registration is all done online!)
9:00 am: Kona Ice Kids Color Run 1K Start
10:00 am: 5k Run/Walk Start
11:00 am: 5k Awards Ceremony

PARKING: Parking will be at the main White Hall Park parking lot. Please watch for signs and volunteers directing traffic. Packet pickup will be held in the park pavilion. We will have use of the park's indoor restrooms near the pavilion.
