Join us for the exhilarating Runners Choice Trail Run on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at the picturesque Rock Bridge State Park in Columbia, Boone. This exciting event offers two race distances: tackle the challenging 10K course, which consists of one loop, or push your limits with the 20K course featuring two loops on the beautiful Devil's Ice Box trails.
As you approach the finish line, you have the unique opportunity to choose whether to complete your distance or continue on for an extra challenge—hence the name Runner's Choice! Limited to just 100 participants across both distances, the first 100 runners will also receive a cozy fleece hat to commemorate their achievement. While there are no bathrooms or aid stations on the course, water will be available at the start/finish for those tackling the 20K. Race day registration opens at 8 a.m. but be sure to arrive early, as slots may fill up quickly. Come experience the thrill of trail running and enjoy post-race refreshments with fellow outdoor enthusiasts!

Organiser's Description
WHAT IS THE DISTANCE: Choose between 10K and 20K course on 100% single track trail at Rock Bridge State Park. Run the 10K (1 loop) or 20K (2 loops) on the Devil's Ice Box trails. When you approach the finish, you can decide whether to finish or keep going, hence Runner's Choice. Please let a timer know you are finishing so we can record your time. If you decide to continue, let them know if you signed up for the 10K so they can switch you to the 20K.
