Running with the Big Dogs 5k Run and 2-mile Dog Stroll
You can run or walk with or without your dog
Dogs must be on a leash (6 ft. max) at all times. All dogs must have a current rabies inoculation. Puppies six months of age or younger, or female dogs in any stage of heat, will not be allowed to participate. In addition, a dog whose behavior is unruly or might prove hazardous to other participants, dogs or spectators will be asked to leave the race. We urge you to consult with your veterinarian before registering for this race. He/she may advise you not to participate due to your pets health status.
All registered participants receive a long-sleeve cotton t-shirt
All dogs that complete the walk or run receive a medal
Part of the proceeds from the race will benefit Michigan City Police Department (MCPD) new search and rescue K9 Freya
The purpose Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) is to promote non-pavement/pavement races in the Northwest Indiana region through the development and management of new and existing races. At all our events you will experience fun and challenging course design in a low-key atmosphere. Races will be held in parks or areas in the Lake, Porter and Laporte counties.
