RunSBY Events (Salisbury Marathon/Salisbury Half Marathon/5k)

Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the exhilarating RunSBY Events taking place on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, in the picturesque city of Salisbury, Wicomico! Celebrate the lucky seventh year of this fantastic running festival, which features a flat and fast marathon, half marathon, and a fun 5k race. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or a newcomer, this event offers a prime opportunity to achieve your personal best or even qualify for a major marathon, thanks to its remarkable BQ percentage.

The marathon and half marathon courses will share the same scenic route for the first 10.8 miles, providing a unique experience before splitting off for the finish. Don't worry, marathon runners have the option to switch to the half marathon at this point if they wish. With a pace requirement of 16 minutes per mile, participants in the marathon must complete the course in 7 hours, while half marathon runners have 3.5 hours to reach the finish line. Remember, there will be no race day packet pickup, so make sure to collect your race materials at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on April 3rd or 4th.
