RVA Sprint

Join us for the RVA Sprint Triathlon on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in the picturesque Rockville, Hanover! This vibrant event highlights Richmond's only pool sprint triathlon and promises a fantastic day of competition and community spirit. Athletes will swim a short distance in a refreshing pool, tackle a scenic rolling rural bike course, and enjoy a fun out-and-back run.

The RVA Sprint features a variety of race options, including a classic sprint triathlon, a kids' splash and dash, and a new beginner-only race for first-time triathletes. For those who prefer running or cycling only, duathlon (run-bike-run) and aquabike (swim-bike) categories are also available. This year's race will introduce an exciting seeded start, with the top 12 women racing ahead of the men, creating a thrilling dynamic at the finish line! Every participant will earn a finisher's medal, and awards will be presented to the top three male and female competitors in various categories. Don’t miss this chance to compete while supporting a great cause, as all proceeds benefit Live Red Foundation's free fitness programs for children in low-opportunity communities.
