The San Felipe Shootout features three individual racesthe 5K, 10K, and Half Marathonplus the ultimate challenge: the Shootout (Triple). Triple runners will take on all three distances back-to-back-to-back, racing the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon consecutively for one cumulative time.
Heres where it gets interesting: the faster you run, the more recovery time you earn between races. Every athlete must toe the line at each startno matter how much (or little) rest youve earned. Strategy, grit, and pacing all come into play, making this a true test of endurance and race execution.

CLOSEDKids, 12 and under, not only get free park entry but can join in the trail fun with our Kids Kilometer. Kids must be registered on RunSignup, by their parent/guardian, and check-in at packet pickup for a free bib. Parents are welcome to join their kids on course. Note that parents who are not registered for their own event, will need to purchase the event/park pass. The non-timed event will start right after the half-marathon (10:30 AM) as it follows the same first 1km mini-loop. Kids will gather at the timing event for the half marathon start to receive instructions. Once the half-marathon runners have cleared the start, we will have a separate start for the kids' event at ~10:31 AM.
