Join us for the exciting Sandia Resort & Casino 2027 Run to Break the Silence on Sunday, April 18, 2027, in beautiful Albuquerque, Bernalillo! This vibrant event features both a 5K and a 10K Trail Run, as well as a fun-filled Kids Fun Run, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Sandia Mountains. The trail runs are designed to challenge participants, winding through the picturesque foothills of this iconic range.
Kick off your day with on-site registration starting at 8:00 AM, followed by a warming session at 8:45 AM, and then gear up for the 10K at 9:00 AM and the 5K at 9:15 AM. Don’t miss the chance to support a great cause, as proceeds from the event benefit the Presbyterian Ear Institute, helping deaf and hard-of-hearing children learn and speak. Participants who register by April 9 will receive a stylish short-sleeve 2027 RTBS Sport-Tech T-shirt. Gather your friends and family, and become a Silence Breaker at this fantastic community event filled with fitness, fun, and purpose!

Organiser's Description
The Sandia Resort & Casino Run to Break the Silence benefitting Presbyterian Ear Institute will take place on Sunday April 18, 2027 at Sandia Resort & Casino with a 5K and 10K Trail Run and a Kids Fun Run. The 5K and 10K will start and finish in the far east parking lot at Sandia Resort and Casino. The trail covers an all-terrain cross-country course in the challenging foothills of the Sandia Mountains. No pets are allowed. You may bring your infant/ toddler in a stroller to the community fair portion of the event, but you may not participate in the 5K or 10K with a stroller. Register by 4/9 to receive a short-sleeve 2027 RTBS Sport-Tech T-shirt. On-Site registration will begin at 8:00am. Warm-up will begin at 8:45am. Proceeds will support Presbyterian Ear Institute's School for Oral Deaf Education, where deaf and hard of hearing children, listen, learn and speak! We invite you to become a Silence Breaker joining us for a morning of fitness and fun!
Runner Packet Pick up will be held on Saturday 4/17/27 at New Mexico Look (6611 Menaul Blvd. NE) 10:30am - 3:00pm. Your packet will include your shirt- if registered by 4/9, bib and timing chip. If registering at Packet-Pick Up, please bring a debit or credit card, as registration is card only this year.

Run to Break the Silence Virtual Run: Stand With Us, Run Where You Are

OPENS 06 FEB 27"Run to Break the Silence Virtual Run: Stand With Us, Run Where You Are" allows participants to complete a 5K (3.1 miles) on their own schedule and in a location of their choice. Walk, jog, or run wherever you are during the event window. There is no set start time or course, and participants should plan their route accordingly. All participants registered by 4/3/2026 will be guaranteed a 2026 Run to Break the Silence Sport Tech T-shirt, which will be mailed. Thank you for standing with us and supporting PEIs mission to help families choose listening and spoken language for their deaf or hard of hearing children.
