THE SANTA BARBARA RUNNING ASSOCIATION (SBRA) OFFERS A GREAT WAY TO START THE NEW YEAR!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.

Resolve to race into 2026 by joining us at Leadbetter Beach for an invigorating Santa Barbara waterfront 5K & 10K run or walk on New Years Day.

Runners will receive a discounted price for choosing to run both the 10K & 5K.

Runners under 18 years of age pay only $20 (plus fees).

SBRA Adult Members receive $10 off, SBRA Junior Grand Prix members race for FREE! Discount codes will be sent to all SBRA members.

SBRA events benefit the greater running community, school, youth and club running programs throughout Santa Barbara County.

Looking for even more of a challenge, participants can double up and race both events!

EVENT DETAILS - JANUARY 1ST, 8-11:00 AM:

9:00 AM, 5K (3.1 Miles)
9:45 AM, 10K (6.2 Miles)



EVENT OPTIONS:

5K (3.1 Miles), Run or Walk (Junior Grand Prix Race)
10K (6.2 Miles), Run or Walk (Grand Prix Race)

Or do both races for the New Years 15K Double!

SB Waterfront Path Start/Finish line area Leadbetter Beach, Santa Barbara CA.



PACKET PICKUP:

Packet pickup/late registration opens at 8:00 am at Leadbetter Beach.



SBRA GRAND PRIX:

The 10K run is the inaugural SBRA Grand Prix event for 2026 (5K for the Junior Grand Prix).

REGISTRATION PRICING:

All races are $50. Runners are allowed to double up for 15k of racing for an additional $10. Runners planning to do both races can do so for just $60.

SBRA members receive a $10 discount on registration.
