Get ready for a festive celebration at the Santa Run & Walk 5K/2K on Saturday, December 19th, 2026, in the charming Crown Point, Lake! This beloved community event, which has been spreading holiday cheer since 1982, kicks off at 8 AM (with sign-in starting at 7 AM) at the First United Methodist Hall. Participants can choose between a timed 5K run and a non-timed 2K walk, making it perfect for everyone, from seasoned runners to families with little ones.
Join us for a morning filled with fun, fitness, and holiday spirit! The first 300 registrants will receive finisher medals, and there will be exciting race awards for the top overall finishers and the top three in each age group. After the race, enjoy a delightful meet-and-greet with Santa, indulge in hot cocoa and Christmas treats, and savor some delicious Carriage Court Pizza. Plus, your participation helps support local food pantries! Registration is just $30 for adults in the timed 5K and $20 for kids aged 3-12 in the non-timed 2K, with those under 3 joining for free.
