Get ready to jingle your way through the festive season at Santa's 5K Run/Walk - the Official NC Bigfoot Christmas Reunion! Join us on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in the charming town of Mt. Ulla, Rowan, for a delightful event that promises fun and community spirit. Runners and walkers of all levels are invited to enjoy a scenic 3.1-mile course that loops through the picturesque West Rowan area. Whether you're competing for speed or just soaking in the holiday cheer, this event has something for everyone.
Participants can also join the 1/2 Mile Fun Run, perfect for kids and families. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. with the 5K race starting at 9:00 a.m. and the Fun Run at 9:45 a.m. All proceeds support Rowan Helping Ministries, a local non-profit dedicated to assisting those in need. Plus, bring along canned goods and used running shoes to donate! The first 150 5K registrants will even receive a stylish long-sleeve technical t-shirt. Celebrate the season with us, enjoy a light breakfast of pancakes after the race, and help make a difference in the community!

*Canned goods and used running shoes will be collected at the race. Donated items will be dispersed by Rowan Helping Ministries after the race.

DIRECTIONS - The Millbridge Ruritan Building is on Sloan Road, just off Highway 150 midway between Salisbury and Mooresville. Just follow the signs for Sloan Park near the Millbridge Community crossroads. Turn left on Sloan coming from Mooresville and right on Sloan coming from Salisbury. The Ruritan Building is on the right less than a half mile from Hwy. 150, and is directly across from Sloan Park.
