This festive event features a scenic 3.1-mile course that meanders through the picturesque West Rowan area, making it perfect for both competitive and recreational runners. Participants can also join in the 1/2 Mile Fun Run, ideal for families and younger runners.
Registration kicks off at 7:30 a.m., with the 5K starting at 9:00 a.m. and the Fun Run following at 9:45 a.m. Early bird registration is just $30 for the 5K until December 12, and $35 on race day, while the Fun Run is a budget-friendly $10. As part of the event's community spirit, attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods and used running shoes for donation to Rowan Helping Ministries, supporting those in need. All proceeds go to Rowan Helping Ministries [https://rowanhelpingministries.org/] - a not-for-profit volunteer-based corporation which operates human service programs to assist the economically disadvantaged.
*Canned goods and used running shoes will be collected at the race. Donated items will be dispersed by Rowan Helping Ministries after the race.

DIRECTIONS - The Millbridge Ruritan Building is on Sloan Road, just off Highway 150 midway between Salisbury and Mooresville. Just follow the signs for Sloan Park near the Millbridge Community crossroads. Turn left on Sloan coming from Mooresville and right on Sloan coming from Salisbury. The Ruritan Building is on the right less than a half mile from Hwy. 150, and is directly across from Sloan Park.
