Get ready to celebrate the holiday season with Santa's 5K Run/Walk at the Official NC Bigfoot Christmas Reunion on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in beautiful Salisbury, Rowan. This festive event features a scenic 3.1-mile course that winds through the picturesque West Rowan area, making it perfect for both competitive and recreational runners, as well as walkers of all ages. Participants can also join the 1/2 Mile Fun Run, designed for children 12 and under.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. with the 5K kicking off at 9:00 a.m. and the Fun Run at 9:45 a.m. Early registration is just $30 until December 12, with race day pricing at $35 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run. All proceeds benefit Rowan Helping Ministries, a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the economically disadvantaged. Plus, don't forget to bring canned goods and used running shoes for collection at the race! All proceeds go to Rowan Helping Ministries [https://rowanhelpingministries.org/] - a not-for-profit volunteer-based corporation which operates human service programs to assist the economically disadvantaged.
*Canned goods and used running shoes will be collected at the race. Donated items will be dispersed by Rowan Helping Ministries after the race.

BREAKFAST - All 5K and Fun Run participants plus volunteers will receive a light breakfast following the races. Spectators and others can purchase the breakfast as a donation to Rowan Helping Ministries.
DIRECTIONS - The Millbridge Ruritan Building is on Sloan Road, just off Highway 150 midway between Salisbury and Mooresville. Just follow the signs for Sloan Park near the Millbridge Community crossroads. Turn left on Sloan coming from Mooresville and right on Sloan coming from Salisbury. The Ruritan Building is on the right less than a half mile from Hwy. 150, and is directly across from Sloan Park.
