Join us for the festive fun at the 2024 Santa's Toy Trot on Sunday, December 15th, in Merrimac, Essex! This exciting event features a variety of race options including a 2-mile, 4-mile, and 6-mile road race, perfect for runners of all ages and abilities. Starting at the Sweetsir School, participants will tackle a scenic 2-mile loop, allowing them to challenge themselves by deciding whether to stop or continue for longer distances. With chip timing and awards for overall male and female finishers as well as age group winners, competition is sure to be thrilling!
Families are also invited to bring their young ones for the Elves Fun Run, a joyful event for children aged 10 and under, led by a member of the Winner's Circle Running Club. Plus, every registration supports the Merrimac Holiday Helper Program, making this a wonderful opportunity to give back while getting active! Register early to secure your custom fleece blanket, available to the first 200 registrants. Don’t miss out on this heartwarming holiday event that combines fitness, fun, and community spirit!

Organiser's Description
The Winner's Circle Running Club hosts the 2024 Santa's Toy Trot. Participants have the option to run 2,4 or 6 miles. The race starts at the Sweetsir School in Merrimac, MA. Participants run a 2-mile loop that starts and finishes at the school. The two mile loop allows runners to decide whether or not they want to stop or keep on going to complete 4 or 6 miles. Strategy is key!!! The run is chipped timed with Male/Female overall awards in each distance followed by age group awards (10 year age group). Starting at age 65, age groups are 4 year age groups until 90+!!!, and prizes will be awarded two deep. Prior to the actual race children, 10 and under, are welcome to participate in a fun run around the elementary school led by a Winner's Circle Running Club Member, free of charge. A portion of the proceeds supports the Merrimac Holiday Helper Program, a program that supports Merrimac Families through the holidays. Registration fee is $35.00 with a toy; $40 with no toy; and $50 on race day. 70+ just bring a toy though you must complete a registration application (5 year age group awards beginning at 65+ in honor of our dear friend Bob Kennedy)!! Custom Fleece Blankets will be provided to the first 200 Registrants!!!

The children's fun run is for children 10 and under. The run is around the school led by a Winner's Circle Club Member. All children who participate will receive a gift when they arrive at the finish line. Santa and his Friends will be at the start and finish lines. -
