We are so excited to open the beautiful grounds of the San Antonio State Hospital to host our Stepping Up Awareness - 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 3, 2025! Come join us and show your support for mental health! The race will be hosted on the grounds of SASH located at 6711 S. New Braunfels St., San Antonio, TX 78223. Dont miss the beautiful views of the newly completed state of the art hospital and a glimpse of the Tower of the Americas. This is the only time of the year that the campus is open for runners and walkers. Dogs on a leash and baby strollers are welcome! Volunteer groups are also welcome to come and cheer everyone on to the finish line, call for more details!
This is a professionally timed, chip race with an accurate course. Unique and one-of-a-kind prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers.

The patients at the San Antonio State Hospital are receiving treatment and are on their way to recovery from mental illness.
