Save Your Breath 5K

We are proceeding with a live event again for 2024. We have retained a virtual run for those who would rather run their race their way or cannot travel to Augusta to participate in the live chip timed event by Brian Berkemeyer. Brian told me that he plans to have music at the start/finish line this year.

The award ceremony has been moved back to the YMCA and will be held once all participants have returned to the gym. All winners must be present to receive their award. All participants will receive a finishers medal.

EVENT TEE SHIRTS WILL BE ORDERED ON SEPTEMBER 15TH. ANY REGISTRATIONS AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT RECEIVE AND EVENT TEE SHIRT.

This event is a fundraiser to help support Free ME from Lung Cancer's mission ~ research, help uninsured high risk patients get access to early detection via low dose CT scans, help single family low income homeowners get access to radon air abatement systems and patient support. It is also the only fundraiser we will have this year that supports our programs ~ research, early lung cancer screening, radon air abatement systems and patient support and care. Please consider making an extra donation when you register or set up a fundraising page so that your family, friends and coworkers can support your run.

The silent auction is returning with lots of great items to bid on. Come early and start your holiday shopping.

We have added a childrens fun run. The cost at registration is for a tee shirt. If you choose not to have a tee shirt we can provide you with a discount coupon.

2. MEMBERS OF THE CENTRAL MAINE STRIDERS AND SUBATTUS RUNNING CLUB WILL RECEIVE A $10 DISCOUNT TOWARDS THEIR REGISTRATION. IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER OF A CLUB THAT IS NOT MENTIONED AND WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE WE WILL PROVIDE A COUPON FOR THE SAME DISCOUNT FOR YOUR RUNNING CLUB.
