The triathlon features a challenging 750m swim in the indoor pool at the Bakke Recreation Center, followed by an 11.8-mile bike ride winding through the scenic UW-Madison campus, and concludes with a picturesque 3.1-mile run along the stunning Lakeshore Path of Lake Mendota.
The Bakke Recreation Center will serve as the event hub, offering convenient amenities such as lockers for storing equipment, post-race snacks, and accessible parking. Make sure to arrive early on Friday, October 3rd, for packet pickup from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Race day kicks off with team preparation and staging at 8:00 AM, leading up to the exciting race start at 9:00 AM. We provide MWCTC athletes one last chance to race outdoors before the winter season! The course will consist of a indoor pool swim at the Bakke Recreation Center, followed by an outdoor bike near the UW-Madison campus and run along the Lakeshore Path of Lake Mendota.
RACE DISTANCES:
* 750m swim
* 11.8 mile bike
* 3.1 mile run.
