Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the Seattle Kraken 5K on Saturday, October 4, 2025! This lively event will take place at the beautiful Green Lake Park in Seattle, King County, as the perfect backdrop to kick off the much-anticipated 2025-2026 Seattle Kraken Season. Participants can choose to run or walk the 5K course, all while supporting the incredible Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund.
The festivities will be hosted by Everett Fitzhugh and include appearances from beloved Kraken broadcast team members, as well as the charming mascot, Buoy, along with other special guests. With waves starting at 9:30 AM, runners of all paces can join in the fun, and there's even a Kids Dash to get the youngest fans involved! Plus, families can take advantage of reduced pricing for kids up to age 18. Don’t miss out on the chance to create a team and earn a $5 refund after your first five sign-ups. The Seattle Kraken 5K presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) will take place Saturday October 4th at Green Lake Park in Seattle. Proceeds from the event benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. This 5K fun run/walk will help kick off the start of the 2025 2026 Seattle Kraken Season. Everett Fitzhugh will host the festivities which will feature members of our broadcast team, Buoy, and other Kraken special guests. Participants will enjoy a unique Seattle Kraken race event and it is designed for everyone to enjoy. Whether you run or walk, join us and show your support for the Seattle Kraken and the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund!
