Hosted by the National Kidney Donation Organization [https://www.nkdo.org] (NKDO) and Kidney Donor Athletes [https://www.kidneydonorathlete.org] (KDA)the two largest communities supporting living kidney donorsthis festive run/walk unites donors, recipients, families, and supporters from all walks of life.
Why it matters:
More than 90,000 Americans are currently waiting for a lifesaving kidney. For them, a transplant from a living donor isnt just a giftits a second chance. Living donors can do anythingrun marathons, climb mountains, and yes, crush 5Ks.
Every step you take helps us go further. All proceeds go directly to NKDO and KDAs mission: to raise awareness, support donors, and increase access to living kidney donation.

Awards:
Overall and Age Groups, Top 1-3 overall, top 1-3 in each age group at 5k. No awards for virtual participants.
Entry:
The entry fee is $35 until August 15th. Registrations from August 15th to September 6th will be $40, and registration on the day of the race is $50.
Amenities:
All participants in the 5k. will receive a tech t-shirt and a finisher medal. There will be a water stop and refreshments at the finish. VK Brewing Co. [https://www.vkbrewing.com/] is providing post-race beer and pizza for the runners. There are no amenities for virtual participants.
Race Results:
Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com
