Join us for the SHENANDOAH SKY Trail Event on Saturday, May 15th, 2027, in the scenic town of Bentonville, Warren. This exciting event offers two fantastic race distances to suit all levels of trail enthusiasts. Choose the challenging 25K route, boasting over 1,700 feet of elevation gain, or opt for the more relaxed 8-Miler with a manageable 600 feet of ascent.
Both courses begin alongside the tranquil river and journey through breathtaking valleys, showcasing stunning views of the Massanutten Mountain Ridge. As you traverse the trails, you'll be enveloped by lush forests, where glimpses of majestic landscapes peek through the canopy. Experience mostly smooth rolling single track, with some double track and technical sections to keep things interesting. The 8-Milers will finish as they loop back to the start area, while the 25K adventurers will tackle the steepest climbs and descents, adding an exhilarating challenge! Organiser's Description
Beautiful views of the Massanutten Mountain Ridge greet you from the starting line of our newest Trail Event. Choose from a challenging 25K with 1700+ feet of elevation gain or a chiller 8 Miler with 600 gain. Both courses start along the river and make their way through the valley passing views of the surrounding mountains. Once the climbing starts you'll find yourself in a beautiful forest with the occasional view popping out from the canopy. The trails are mostly smooth rolling single track but you will find some double track and slightly technical sections along the way. The distances split when the route comes by the start area. 8 Milers make their way up to the finish and the 25K heads into the woods for the steepest climbs and descents of the race!
