What a fun race! The Shillelagh Four Mile Run & Walk delivered a great atmosphere and a well-organized event overall. The course was enjoyable and the St. Patrick's Day spirit made it extra festive. One thing worth noting: course markings at a key junction were apparently unclear, and a number of runners accidentally took a shortcut — something the organizers should address for future editions to ensure a fair race for everyone. That said, it didn't take away from the overall fun experience. Would definitely recommend and run it again!
