Together with the Frankstown Elementary School faculty, the Frankstown PTO is hosting Shine On: A Colorful Tribute to Kenzie, a color run on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in memory of beloved teacher Kenzie Schneeberger.



Shine On will be an un-timed 2K walk/run and 5K event that will take place at the Hollidaysburg Area Senior High on May 17th, 2025! Students, community members, and families can register to walk or run the 2K or 5K loop on the cross-country course. Throughout the designated path, there will be various stations where participants will be colored in Color Zones.



With this run, funds will be raised to update the walking track behind Frankstown Elementary School, as well as to donate to the family. Following the update, the track will be re-dedicated in memory of Kenzie. Kenzie was a kind, loving, and caring member of the FKS community. She greeted every day, and every student and staff member, with a smile and joy. Kenzie truly was the sunshine at Frankstown. She is missed by so many in the community, and updating and re-dedicating the walking track will be a meaningful way to remember and connect with her for many years to come.

CANCELLATION DISCLAIMER: In the event of a cancellation of Shine On: A Colorful Tribute to Kenzie, all proceeds will be given to Frankstown PTO to update the walking track at Frankstown Elementary School and benefit the family of Kenzie Schneeberger.



INCLEMENT WEATHER: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Shine On: A Colorful Tribute to Kenzie. Any updates will be posted on the race website.
